Ian is getting bigger and bigger - my little chubbabubba! Also, good news: his doc said we no longer need to bind his broken arm. Instead, we are to encourage him to use it. It looks like there might be some minor nerve damage, but he thinks it will heal up in time. Ian is already moving the arm from the elbow down and doesn't seem to be in a lot of discomfort, so all is well. Yahoo.

I am feeling like now would be a good time to say thanks to everyone - friends, family, and all - for being so generous with good wishes, gifts, and even a week's worth of dinners! Of course, the appropriate thank you's will be mailed soon, along with a picture, I hope, but I am just feeling so blessed with good friends. God is good.

Got a lovely little card from Jenn in the mail today - Thanks Jenn! It was so cute, stars and moon and cute old typewriter printing - I couldn't help myself - I started thinking about how it would make a cute set. SOMEBODY STOP ME! The saying was pretty cute, too: "Soft and sweet and tiny and round and perfect and pure and yours." Awe.
Speaking of looks . . . you should have seen the look that Ian gave me after his ((whisper: circumcision)) - "Why did you leave me with that mean lady? What's it all about, huh, Mom?" Oh brother. Guilt. But it's done now. Also, his umbilical cord fell off today. Bit of a red letter day - his is the first to come off without intervention. Last two kids went a month and needed what? zinc or whatever put on it and it was so messy and gross. Ian's belly button is already cute! Cool.
